The Xiuhcoatl are a minion race of large dragon-like serpents created by the Titan Xiuhtecuhtli to battle the Scions of the Atzlánti. Each Xiuhcoatl is an intelligent flying feathered serpent, closely resembling an exceptionally large specimen of the standard Coatl. Unlike the flying servants of Quetzalcoátl, the Xiuhcoatl are highly intelligent and extremely powerful. Each Xiuhcoatl can assum the form of a mortal while still retaining their draconic powers. Talented infiltrators, the Xiuhcoatlpenetrate the cults that support the Aztec Scions with the goal of destroying them from within.
